This half term we're off on a family cruise to France, Belgium and Rotterdam, the kids are so excited but we don't leave til Tuesday, meaning i still have Sunday and Monday to entertain them preferably without spending much money, the other half will be out working most of the day... I need a plan!!!
I was thinking it may be nice to take them for a nice long autumn walk, but then storm Brian made an appearance so that plan was laid to rest!
So today we've decided to bake! All 3 of them love to bake, it's lovely quality time spent with them, and it isn't too stressful either!
Our favourite thing to bake is Cookies, good old Chocolate chip cookies with extra Chocolate chips!
If it's not Cookies then it's going to be Fairy Cakes! Yea.. we're not very adventurous! ha!!
Baking is one of my favourite things to do with the children at half term. It can be tricky to find something that suits them all because they are all at different ages, but Baking is enjoyed by all of them. We're lucky enough to have a lovely spacious kitchen fitted with lovely modern worktops and cupboards which had recently been fitted just before we moved in! It's surprising how having nice new worktops can make your kitchen look to mordern and new. Earlier I was looking at worktop express just to get an idea of how much it would have cost us if we had needed to update the kitchen.
