Healthy and Fun Desserts your kids will love

Our evening meal is cooked mostly by Matt at the moment as i'm often out taking the kids to dance class around tea time every single week day! Matt has become a real cooking genius, even the kids love his meals and prefer his cooking to mine! I can't say i blame them really!

Recently, Matt has come up with a fantastic dessert idea for the kids, he calls them "Fruit Faces" and he loves coming up with new ideas each day for the kids as a treat when they have finished all their food. Sometimes the dessert is made with fruit only, sometimes it will include some cake or biscuit alongside the fruit! Either way, it's healthy and it's fun! I have managed to take a few snaps of Matt's lovely creations and would love to share them with my readers who might like to have a go at trying these out for their children.

Lottie is delighted with her Angry Birds Fruit Face ☺

A simple idea - Sea Creatures!

Sailing Boat - a little more advanced! (made with chocolate brownie)

Hedgehog (he has chocolate brownie under the chopped grapes!)

Simple Butterflies - perfect for tots!

Kier loved his Crocodile fruit!

The children never seem to get bored of Matt's creations and Matt never seems to run out of ideas! I love watching him make these and then seeing the kids reactions! Sometimes the most simple things can put a huge smile on your children's little faces, no expensive spared, just a bit of creativity!

Have you tried this before with your children? If so, what did you come up with? I would love to hear your ideas, please leave comments!
