The Best Halloween Party Ever

This Halloween was very different than our usual.  The kids were back at School on the 31st which meant we couldn't visit my parents in Liverpool and spend Halloween there. My mum always decorates her House so well and makes amazing witches broth (Beef Stew!) so i was quite disappointed that this wouldn't be happening this year.

However, when my sister Hayley told me her plans for a Halloween party for the kids at her place i knew we were in for a treat! She always goes all out to make her parties so much fun and unforgettable! Amelie and Lottie still talk about their cousins 3rd birthday party which was in March!

We turned up to Hayley's at 6:30 and went trick or treating in her close, the kids got plenty of sweets and loved it but couldn't wait to get back to the house to get the party started. So after half an hour of trick or treating that's what we did.

First of all we had some spoooooky but very yummy food.  Here's what Hayley made for their party picnic.

How awesome are these Pumpkin Cheeseburgers!

Witch's Finger Pizza slices - yummy!

Zombie Cake Pops and Ghostly Cupcakes

Boo Bark!  How amazing!!

After all this delicious food which seemed to take forever to eat, we then moved onto the games.
Mystery Pots was the first game.. each pot was covered in tissue paper, each child had a turn to punch open a pot and see what was inside, something nice or something nasty?  Amelie and Lottie did very well, they managed to win some nice sweeties and kier won a bag of Ghost Busters Choccy coins which he loved. Poor little Tyne kept punching pots either filled with Spagetti Hoops or nothing at all!!

Then we had a game of Bob-Donuts (the unhealthy version of Bob-Apple!)

Then we had a few more games, the last game was Pumpkin Pinyata, their half filled Trick or Treat buckets then became extremely full!

All 3 of the kids had so much fun this Halloween, they didn't get to bed until 10pm with school the next morning!!  They are so lucky to have an Auntie who throws such great parties!
They are all looking forward to the next party at Christmas!

What did you do with your children this Halloween? Please leave Comments as I love reading them!! :-)

  1. It sounds like you had a lovely party! We did something similar last year but this year headed to Legoland for their Brick or Treat day. #sharingthebloglove

  2. That looks like such a wonderful party! I love the zombie cake pops and the spooky faces in the cheese is brilliant! My son is only two, so we've not gone all out for Halloween yet (we carved a pumpkin this year but that was as far as we went). Looking forward to when we can fully embrace it! Thanks so much for joining us at #SharingtheBlogLove

  3. She did an amazing job! I think next year we will have a halloween party, the girls loved dressing up this year and we carved pumpkins. We are moving house and there is much more of a community feel to go out trick and treating. Thank you for joining us at #SharingtheBlogLove x
