In Review: Sshh! Don't Wake Dad Game and Giveaway

We all love a good old board game in our Family, specially in the Summer holidays when we actually have some spare time and don't have to worry about school homework or reading books or strict 7.30pm bedtimes!  The next 6 weeks is all about spending some quality family time together, and that doesn't have to cost the earth!

Tonight we had a game of Sshh! Don't Wake Dad, a hilarious and very popular game from Drumond Park. This game is definitely one of my favourites. It's so funny. My children don't usually like "jumpy" games but this game is one that nobody wants to miss out on!

The object of the game is to get from the start position on the board, across Dad's bed and over to the finish point, where a fridge full of Chocolate cake awaits you, oh but without waking Dad of course! When you have to press his alarm a few times you might just wake him up!

What we thought

We played the game 3 times in one night, at first the girls were terrified (they are such wimps!) and wanted me to press the alarm clock when it was their turn to press it. When Dad wakes up he suddenly stops snoring and spins around in the bed very fast. This made Amelie and Lottie jump but then they laughed and the more they got used to it to braver they became. The next time we played it the girls didn't ask me to press the alarm button for them, they seemed happy to play without worrying about Dad waking up.

This is a great family game, and also good for older children to play with their friends. We can't get enough of Sshh! Don't Wake Dad! We have most of the games from Drumond Park but this one is our new favourite! I expect it will be coming out of its box a lot this summer holidays!

The game is suitable for children from age 5 and requires 2 to 4 players.

It is conceivable to discover emulators for nothing on the web, in spite of the fact that the more quality ones accompany a virtual sticker price. www.pokegogpshack.com
