As we get closer and closer to the big day, I thought it would be nice to share some of our Pictures and Ideas on things to do with your extremely over excited little ones.
Just 4 more days until Christmas Day, it seems hard to believe it is finally here but to our Children 4 days can seem like a life time away! Every day i get asked the same question. "How many days mummy how many days how many days!?"
To make this week pass a little quicker for my little ones i have prepared some fun and festive things to do that we can all enjoy.
Christmas Film Night
My girls love watching films at home and eating popcorn, usually we can only do this on a Saturday evening when Kier is in bed but now that they have finished School we can watch a film every night!
I have waited a whole 8 Christmas's to watch my favourite Christmas film Home Alone with my children!
It was worth the wait, Amelie loved it and i think its really funny how she actually has a little crush on kevin! Lottie sat through the whole film and seemed to enjoy it too but she says she still prefers The Grinch! Tonight we will be watching Home Alone 2, and on Wednesday i am hoping they will choose either The Snowman or The Muppets Christmas Carol!
Christmas Fun Online
There is so much fun Christmassy activities you can do online with your kids. Every year I created a personalised Video message from Santa for my children at Portable North Pole (PNP) a lot of people have heard of it but don't know that the Video message is completely free! There are extra's for Gold Members including a phone call from Santa and many other extra options to add to your video message for only £9.99. The video's are really magical, my kids like to watch theirs over and over again!
Another fun and excited thing to do with your kids online is to Track Santa on Christmas Eve! Find out where in the world Santa is and where he will be heading off to next. This is completely free and so much fun for the whole family!
There are also fun Christmas games available to play online for free as well as fun stuff for the parents too! Check out this Christmas Quiz from UKTV
Do some Festive Baking
You don't have to be a master chef at baking to create delicious Christmas treats with your kids, Asda have some great do it yourself bake kits, we recently bought a Gingerbread house Kit to make with the children. So much fun and easy to make and very reasonably priced!
As well as baking yummy treats we have also been getting Crafty to get us into the festive spirit. We were lucky enough to have an opportunity to review some fantastic Baker Ross Christmas Crafts which as always was a big hit with the kids. We also made some Paper Chain decorations, which only cost £1 from Asda!
It doesn't have to cost a fortune to have fun with your kids at this wonderful time of the Year :-)
