Kidz In Mind App Review

I recently came across this fantastic App made specially for younger children. My girls just love Apps, they play beauty salon and even have some Maths apps on my phone that they love to play on. Kier has never played on an app before, or a computer game. I have tried to find some suitable for his age but never had any luck until recently, when we found out about KidzinMind, a lovely little App designed specially for children Kier's age.

I tried the app with Kier, he just loved it and didn't want to put it down. The app has lots of learning games, Kier especially liked the Dinosaur app, he loves learning names of Dinosaurs.
He enjoyed placing the Dinosaur shapes into the right place, like a puzzle. He wasn't sure at first but now he is very good and knows where they all go!

There are plenty of Games on the app, from Puzzles to learning ABC'S. There are even Video's to watch, they can also be watched offline! Kier loves this Alphabet section.

Another one of Kier's favourites on the App is creating a Farm scene, he also loved creating the Fishy scene under the Sea! This is a great way to teach children about Animals and Creatures that live in the Sea. Kier and I were talking about the creatures, he learnt what a Star fish and Jellyfish were just through playing on this game!

There are many different matching games, Kier is a little too young to understand what to do on some of the matching games but my Nephew who is almost 3 has been playing on this App too and loves the matching games. He likes to see the big smiley face appear on the screen everytime he gets it right!
There is information for parents on the app, telling you about each section and how it can help your child's learning development. I find this really useful.

There is a Camera icon on the app which allows children to take snaps of themselves as funny characters.
Kier's older sister Lottie (aged 5) loves doing this!
She took some great pictures of Kier!

The art section is really fun and works best on the Ipad.

We have really enjoyed using this app, it's great to know there are apps out there for younger children as well as older! Apps are a great way for children to learn as well as learning through regular play.
It is safe for children to use as it has parental control tools including the ability to restrict session times and set a baby mode!
The app is recommended for children aged 1 to 6 years.

The best thing about the App is that there are no adds or in app purchases!

KidzInMind is available to download on Android from Google Play and iOS from the App Store. The app is subscription-based and after the first week, which is free, KidzInMind is priced a 79p per month for limited in-built apps and features. Parents can pay £4.99 per month for unlimited access to the full app, video and game catalogue and all the parental safety controls.
