Harvester Restaurant Review
Yesterday afternoon we set off to Torquay to review the Harvester Restaurant at Beacon Quay.
I have passed this restaurant a few times but never been inside. It is set right next to the Harbour, very pretty scenery! Kier was a little restless so Matt took him out to look at the Boats while we waited for our meal.
The girls were well entertained. They were each given some crayons and a paper chef Hat to doodle on.
The childrens Menu is excellent. I like Restaurants that offer a toddler menu, not enough restaurants do this!
Kier chose the Fish goujons, Amelie chose a "create your own wrap" and Lottie also chose some fish goujons. The children get to choose which side and veg they would like with their meal, very good for typical fussy eaters like my lot!
Each meal includes a trip to the Salad bar, the children loved choosing their own salad. They never usually eat salad at home but there's nothing more fun than choosing your own!
Matt and I each had a Steak with Peppercorn sauce. It was really yum and cooked just to our liking.
The restaurant was clean and tastefully decorated. The toilet and baby changing facilities were kept clean and tidy. It was a lovely after school treat for our family. Very good value for money and very family friendly, perfect for busy families like ourselves.
Unfortunately Kier was a little restless as it was passed his bedtime, so we couldn't stay for desert, but now we know how nice the restaurant is we will definitely be paying another visit soon.
Try recreating the great Harvester taste at home! Yum yum!
