First News Children's Newspaper Review

I just love the idea of a children's Newspaper! First News is an award winning weekly national Newspaper aimed at children aged 7 to 14. As First News is the UK's first ever children's newspaper I was delighted to be asked to review it!

As soon as it arrived I gave it straight to Amelie, "cool, a newspaper for kids!" she replied.
She sat down comfortably on the sofa and had a read of her very own Newspaper, she found some interesting facts about Animals, and read some real life stories.

I find it hard to encourage Amelie to read her school reading books, even her own books at home shes not really interested in! She loves children's magazines but only to rip the toy off the front page and play with it for all of 5 minutes!  This newspaper is the only thing she seems to want to read, without being asked to!

Children love to act like adults, they want to be more "grown up" even at the age of 7. The idea of reading a Newspaper just like mum and dad would appeal to most children. Of course we wouldn't want our innocent 7 year olds to read about some of the horrible  things that are happening in our world would we?
Now our children can read their very own Newspaper for very little cost.

Try First News for just £1 for your first 3 issues, and then £29.99 every 6 months. Also available for your Tablet. See here for details.
