My First Years Hand and Footprint Box

This weekend we have had fun trying out a fantastic little product from My First Years.

I have baby footprints of both Amelie and Lottie in their baby memory boxes and have been meaning to do Kier's for a while. So when I was asked to review an item from My First Years i thought the Bambam hand and footprint box would be perfect!

a My First Years box for Kier! He has no idea what is about to happen!!

The hand and footprint box comes packaged in this lovely little box
with a simple guide on the back.

It is really easy  to create your baby's hand or footprint with this box. All you need to do is  fill the tin with 130ml of water, add the plaster and mix.

Then you're ready for the fun part, time to to get printing!!

I decided to print both of Kier's feet as i thought hands might be a bit tricky and he would  probably grab the plaster and ruin the whole thing! Hands would be great if he were younger as newer babies don't wriggle around as much as 7 month olds!
I thought it was going to be a nightmare but it was SO easy.
It only took 5 minutes to do the whole thing, it dries really quickly and isn't messy at all.

and then you're left with a beautiful little keepsake!!

and  to make it extra special you could print off this little poem to put in the tin... (if you make handprints!)

Sometimes you get discouraged because I am so small, and always leave my fingerprints on furniture and walls. But everyday i'm growing, i'll be grown up someday, and these tiny little handprints will simply fade away. So here's a final handprint, just so you can recall, exactly how my fingers looked when I was very small.

This beautiful little gift cost just £15 and would make a fantastic Christening gift.

My First years have a wide rage of lovely Christening gifts to choose from.
